Finally

I know it's been a long time since I've blogged. I should actually make this into several posts, but instead, it's one long one. We've been busy and I haven't had very good access to a computer. There are my excuses. At the end of January we moved into our own little house about a quarter of a mile down the road from where we were living previously. It's been very fun to be on our own again. I'll admit though, it was nice at times to have 4 adults looking after one child. I think Kyson misses all the attention and people to plead with if he wasn't getting what he wanted. We also got to go visit Rachel and Rob at their apartment in Rexburg over President's Day weekend (Family Day if you're Canadian). My parents and Katie also met us there and although they could only stay less than 24 hours, it was good to see them. So anyway, here's a lot of pictures of our last two months in no particular order.

This one was taken the beginning of March. Just showing off is new carhartts. The cute part is that both Kyle and his dad Calvin have identical pairs. I forsee a three generation Carhartt picture in our future.

This one is just for your viewing pleasure. Kyle was trying to follow Kyson through the window of his play-thing. He totally got stuck once his shoulders were through. I couldn't stop laughing, even as I was squeezing his shoulders together to help him out.

Kyson thought that maybe if he pushed hard enough he could make it work. It was a no-go.

Cute pictures of the munchkin in the end of February. I've been working very hard to get him to smile on cue (for an upcoming photoshoot) and this it. He seems to think he needs to always close his eyes. It's cute though.

Another. By the way, this is my new hat from "Lots of Knots" (check out their group on facebook).

Okay, it looks like we are moving backwards to Valentine's Day weekend then we were in Rexburg. My amazing mother made a couple nice meals in her short stint there, this being one of them. They are heart shaped meatloaves. Yum yum! (As a side note, my dad also furnished fine food by bring us to Fong's, it was as good as we remembered it!)

Playing pool at Rachel and Rob's complex club house.

I think this is before our Rexburg trip, Kyle's preening Kyson to be a professional golfer. You have to start young. This is an actual golf club that Kyle found at the course he worked at, broken in half. What did he think? "Perfect size for Kyson!" He's working on getting a grip for it.

This was in January. A last big mess before leaving grandma's house.

Once or twice Kyson has jumped in the dryer and helped by handing me all the clothes, one by one. For some reason he loves little hideouts like that.

Same day in January, in the dryer.

Yeah, this is just to show you how desperate Kyson is to get outside. This winter thing is killing him. We had a semi-nice day in February and he was out driving around.

Just a cute picture of my little lion all wrapped up after a bath.

I believe this was before we moved, Kyson helped daddy change the batteries on this truck. He loves to pretend he's using a screwdriver.

Another little trick taught by the older and wiser Tanner. Take the cusion off and JUMP!

What a funny little mood his was in this day in January when he really wanted this on his head. I had to chase him for a picture though, he was running fast.

Great to catch up on everything! Kyson is getting so grown up! In the pool table picture it looked like your hair is really long again. (Was that you?) I'll need to call you soon so we can "chat". Love you!

Congrats on your new place! Kyson is as cute as ever. We still need to meet that kid in person - when are you coming to PA?

What a cutie! Avery likes to get in the dryer, too. I think they like to be in a space that is just their size. She likes to hide in a cabinet at Brent's office that she fits in perfectly. Funny little kids!
